CTG names former Dell exec as president and CEO

CTG (NASD: CTG), a Buffalo, NY-based staffing provider, named former Dell exec Cliff Bleustein as president, CEO and a board member, effective April 6.

Bleustein was chief medical officer and global provider solutions leader at Dell Services from October 2014. He joined Dell Services in March 2013 as managing director and global head of healthcare consulting. Prior to his career at Dell Services, Bleustein was a director in the health industries advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

“Cliff is a renowned thought leader on health information technology with a keen interest in revolutionizing the way healthcare is managed,” said Board Chairman Daniel Sullivan. “Cliff has managed consulting services in ICD-10, revenue cycle management, and accountable care, among many other areas, and has been instrumental in growing EHR implementation and optimization practices involving a variety of software solutions, including the Epic, Cerner and Meditech systems.”

Former CEO James Boldt died in October and CTG’s board had appointed CFO Brendan Harrington as interim CEO. Harrington will now return to his position as chief financial officer.

CTG also announced interim Executive VP of Operations Filip Gyde will return to his position as senior VP and general manager, CTG Europe, and interim CFO John Laubacker will return to his position as treasurer. Both were appointed to their respective interim positions following Boldt’s death.

CTG ranked as the 17th largest IT staffing firm in the US in 2014.
