Cross Country Healthcare Inc. (NASD: CCRN) elected Mark Perlberg, CEO of Oasis Outsourcing, to its board. Oasis Outsourcing ranks as the third-largest US professional employer organization and is based in West Palm Beach, Fla.

 “For more than a decade, Mark Perlberg has demonstrated great leadership while running and significantly building the Oasis business,” said William Grubbs, President and CEO of Cross Country Healthcare. “I am delighted to have him join us and I know that he will be a terrific addition to our already outstanding board of directors.”

Perlberg served as chairman of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizatiosn from 2013 through 2014. He also previously ran NAPEO’s healthcare reform task force. He is also chairman of the board for the Employer Services Assurance Corporation, an independent and nonprofit accreditation and financial assurance organization for the PEO industry.

Perlberg joined Oasis on 2013. He held a series of executive positions prior to that at Profit Recovery Group, the John Harland Group and Western Union. Perlberg practiced law in New Jersey prior to joining Western Union.

Cross Country Healthcare, based in Boca Raton, Fla., is the fourth-largest US healthcare staffing firm.
