AMN names new leader for MSP, RPO operations

AMN Healthcare Inc. (NYSE: AHS) named Dan White as president of strategic workforce solutions, which provides MSP and RPO services. The positions was previously held by Bob Livonius, who will continue with AMN as executive advisor reporting to President and CEO Susan Salka.

Livonius is considered a pioneer of MSP in the healthcare staffing space, and he appeared on The Staffing 100 list of most influential people in staffing.

“Bob is a trailblazer in the healthcare staffing industry and has provided guidance and leadership for AMN’s transformation to become the leading innovator in workforce solutions,” Salka said. “We are thrilled that we will continue to benefit from his wealth of knowledge and innovative mind. This well-planned transition will also enable Bob to spend more time with his incredible wife and family as well as leverage his expertise and experience through outside corporate board and advisory roles.”

Livonius joined AMN in 2010 as President of Strategic Workforce Solutions after serving for seven years as CEO of Medfinders, a leading healthcare workforce solutions and staffing company. Prior to joining Medfinders, Livonius served as chief operating officer for Spherion Corp. He also spent 20 years in the IT sector, including 15 years at IBM.  He is a board member and former chairman of the American Staffing Association.

White, AMN’s new president of strategic workforce solutions, joined the company as SVP of the division in early 2014. White has more than 25 years of professional experience in recruitment, product marketing and management, software development, executive leadership and venture capital.

He was also the founder of SkillSet Software in 1993 and served in various sales and operational leadership roles across the industry.

White will report to Salka.
