Staffing Industry Analysts has recently released its latest Largest US Staffing Firms report, which lists companies by the US staffing revenue they generated in 2014, with a threshold of $100 million for inclusion. Healthcare staffing firms featured prominently this year, with 19 of the 122 companies on the list noting healthcare as its largest or second-largest segment, a testament to the recent growth in the healthcare market.

We have also released our Largest US Healthcare Staffing Firms report, which takes a closer look at healthcare occupations by listing companies by revenue generated specifically in the healthcare segment of the US temporary staffing market. Based on 2014 revenue, 34 companies achieved the $50 million threshold for inclusion in this report, with a combined $6.5 billion, by our estimates. AMN Healthcare and CHG Healthcare retained their positions from last year as the largest and second-largest US healthcare staffing firms, respectively, while Cross Country’s acquisition of Medical Staffing Network helped bump it up from fourth last year to number three. Jackson Healthcare moved from third to fourth while Maxim Healthcare Services remained unchanged at fifth. This report also provides lists and market share information for the four sub-segments of healthcare staffing (travel nurse, per diem nurse, locum tenens and allied health).
