Medical Staffing Network names new CEO

Medical Staffing Network Healthcare LLC appointed Dr. Brian Poplin as president and CEO. Poplin replaces Bob Bunker in the CEO role, but Bunker will remain as chairman of the board.

Poplin joined MSN in April 2013 as president and chief operating officer. He previously worked at Aramark for 18 years, where he served as president of its healthcare technology outsourcing business.

Poplin’s appointment to CEO and Bunker’s shift to chairman come as part of a larger strategic planning process to prepare MSN for exponential growth, the company said.

“As the healthcare industry experiences rapid changes, we are finding that our value proposition is focused on meeting our clients’ dynamic needs and our opportunities are increasing rapidly,” Poplin said. “I am energized to lead MSN through this period of industry changes and honored by Bob's trust in my abilities.”

MSN ranks fifth on Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of largest healthcare staffing firms in the United States.
