Web: Judge tosses Silicon Valley anti-poaching settlement

Saying there was “ample evidence” Silicon Valley tech firms engaged in “an overarching conspiracy” against their own employees, a federal judge rejected a proposed settlement, the New York Times reports. Judge Lucy H. Koh said the $324 million settlement, which would leave $4,000 per class member after attorneys’ fees, did not fall “within the range of reasonableness.”
