News website Global BC reports a C$1.3-million settlement has been reached in a class-action lawsuit brought by a group of 77 temporary foreign workers — some of whom were force to pay employment agencies C$6,000 for their jobs — against the company that owns Denny’s restaurants in British Columbia, Canada.
