Staffing Firm Buys VMS

October 03 2011

Pinnacle Technical Resources, a Dallas-based staffing firm, acquired Provade Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based vendor management system provider. Provade will continue to operate as a separate entity under Pinnacle’s ownership. Edward Jackson will remain Provade’s president.

“We look forward to continuing the long-standing relationships with our strategic managed service provider partners and enhancing their value propositions to their end clients,” Jackson said. “Joining Pinnacle, with its outstanding brand recognition, reputation, industry leadership and financial strength, positions Provade to make a tremendously significant impact on the market and enhances our go-to-market strategy.”

Provade serves corporations and organizations in more than 40 countries in numerous languages and currencies.

Pinnacle, which ranks No. 3, on Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2011 list of fastest-growing staffing firms, also ranks among the largest women- and minority-owned staffing firms. Additionally, Pinnacle ranks No. 61 on the list of largest U.S. staffing firms.

“We look forward to continuing our trajectory of growth and Provade is an important addition to our organization,” said Nina Vaca-Humrichouse, Pinnacle’s chairman and CEO. “We recognized the tremendous value inherent in the exclusive partnership Provade has forged with Oracle. For more than half of the Fortune 2000, who rely on Oracle as their core global enterprise resource planning solution, Provade delivers an efficient and strategic advantage over the competition.”

Vaca-Humrichouse was listed in SI Review magazine’s Staffing 100 list, and she presently serves as the chairman of the board of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
