Could Waiting in Line Be Next Staffing Opportunity?

September 14 2012

For people who don’t want to wait in line to buy the latest iPhone 5 on Sept. 21, they can pay someone $55 to wait in line for them for up to four hours at their local Apple store. The service is being offered by TaskRabbit, a San Francisco-based firm offering an online platform that brings together buyers with workers willing to perform small tasks such as picking up groceries or assembling Ikea furniture.

TaskRabbit announced the plan earlier this week in its blog.
