Really enjoyed your post Stephen and couldn't agree more with what you say, especially the point about MSP personnel being trained in administration and process not staffing or recruiting. Program's need to facilitate finding talent not hinder it by acting as a middleman. In my experience it is usually internally run MSPs that are better at allowing all stakeholders a voice and functioning in this collaborative way but the tone is definitely set by what the company and program managers demand. It is still too common for companies to see their contingent workforce as a commodity or line item in the budget and not the critical component of their overall workforce strategy that it truly is. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
