Jobless claims fall 2.2%

The number of U.S. initial claims for unemployment benefits fell 2.2% to 631,000 in the week ended April 25 from the previous week's revised number of 645,000. The four-week moving average of claims fell 1.7% to 637,250 from the previous week's revised average of 648,000.
