Behold the power of social media. Google “social media” and you get 3.29 billion hits.  Facebook filed for its IPO last week — the social networking giant hopes to raise as much as $10 billion through the offering. The social media buzz is loud. And we are doing our bit to add to the conversation by seeking out the most innovative social media campaigns.

Staffing firms are currently using social media to attract candidates but critics claim there is no real engagement. In fact, even when it comes to using these strategies to interface with other businesses, the collaboration is limited. By identifying those companies that are using social media effectively, we hope to expand industry knowledge about an underutilized but necessary tool.
