Staffing Industry Analysts Announces Addition of Training Option to CCWP Accreditation Program

New training option will be offered in addition to certification to enhance expertise in contingent workforce program management

Mountain View, Calif – January 22, 2015 - Staffing Industry Analysts, the global advisor on contingent work, today announced the expansion of their Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) accreditation program to include a training-only option. The program now includes both training and full certification testing. CCWP training gives HR and procurement professionals, as well as suppliers to the staffing industry, the expertise they need to excel in their jobs. The training focuses on contingent workforce program management and is appropriate for anyone involved in engaging or supplying contingent workforce program management.

“CCWP training provides contingent workforce professionals with the core knowledge and skill sets needed to efficiently and effectively manage a successful contingent workforce program,” said Bryan Peña, Staffing Industry Analysts’ vice president of contingent workforce strategies and research. “I am so excited to see how the program has evolved over the past three years since inception and the rapid level of industry adoption has far exceeded our expectations.”

CCWP training, unlike certification, does not require participants to take an exam. However, the option to take the exam at any time is available to program participants. The training segments feature the same content and materials as the certification program, and individuals who take the training have access to all nine segment instructional videos, PowerPoint slides, a participant guide and the student certification reference study guide.

“The ability to take a training class and tap into the same expertise, without the pressure of taking an exam, is a great enhancement to our CCWP program,” said Phil Grabfield, vice president, head of marketing, at Staffing Industry Analysts.

The CCWP training option is available in-person and online. The first 2015 in-person training and certification class will be held March 17-18 at the International Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando, Florida. The class will be held during Staffing Industry Analysts’ annual Executive Forum conference, less than two miles away at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Staffing Industry Analysts has also set dates for additional in-person training and certification classes, and attendees may sign up now for any in-person class in 2015:

  • May 12 & 13, Washington, DC
  • July 14 & 15, Chicago, IL
  • October 21 & 22, Dallas, TX
  • December 8 & 9, Northern CA

Information and registration for CCWP training can be found at www.staffingindustry.com/certification.
