Staffing Industry Analysts Releases List of Largest Global Staffing Firms

Adecco Retains Number One Position

Mountain View, Calif. – July 17, 2012 - Staffing Industry Analysts, the leading global advisor on contingent work, announced the 2012 list of largest global staffing firms. Adecco topped the list with $28.1 billion in revenue and 6.92% market share while Randstad Holding recaptured second place from ManpowerGroup with $22.6 billion in revenue.

Staffing Industry Analysts estimates the global staffing market to be worth approximately $406 billion with a 9% growth over the prior year. Over 100 staffing companies had 2011 annual revenues in excess of $300 million and only three firms recorded lower revenues in 2011 as compared to 2010.

“The larger staffing companies have grown at the expense of smaller companies,” said John Nurthen, Staffing Industry Analysts’ executive director, international development. “The firms on our list had total revenues of $187 billion in 2011 representing almost half of global revenues and achieved an average growth rate of 22%.”
