You Ask/We Answer: When using offshore recruiters

Question: When using offshore recruiters, what can we do to help increase their effectiveness?

Answer: One way to make sure you are using offshore recruiters effectively is to make them feel they are part of the team at your staffing firm. Keep them in the loop the same as if they were part of your onsite team.

This was discussed during a panel at the Staffing Industry Executive Forum held in March in San Diego. Some other ideas for making offshore recruiters part of your team include inviting them to participate remotely in company meetings and providing a way to honor them, such as through a recognition program. These will be good starting points.
