Letter From the Editor

Last year, our readers loved the Staffing 100 and asked for more. So once again we invited you to nominate the best and brightest movers and shakers in this dynamic industry, and from these names, we culled the new, 2012 Staffing 100. These are the men and women who gave this industry its cachet. We are very pleased to bring you this illustrious group.

The Staffing 100 is not a ranking. It’s a list of the most influential staffing leaders. We at Staffing Industry Analysts made a thorough review of the nominations made by you, the staffing ecosystem and our colleagues. The folks who made it are the cream of the staffing crop. Forget for a moment that many of them run billion-dollar staffing empires; these icons have influenced the way we view the world of work. Businesses big and small have relied on these leaders to corral different sources of talent and bring them in. These influencers have changed people’s perceptions of talent and how it can be used.

This is just the beginning. We hope that the Staffing 100 list continues to draw your attention. And for those whose nominations did not make the list, there is always next year. Separately, the magazine will continue to profile companies and thought leaders who are breaking barriers and achieving success. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to bringing you the best of staffing.
