Former Randstad US Professionals president, CFO begin IT staffing firm

Curate Partners, a Boston-based IT consulting and staffing firm, was launched this month by Daniel Foley and Ron Fuccillo, two former Randstad executives.

Foley, Curate’s founder and CEO, had served as president of Randstad US Professionals from 2008 to 2013. Foley had also served as CEO of Sapphire Technologies North America.

Curate co-founder and CFO Ron Fuccillo was also with Randstad US Professionals as CFO.

Foley in 2013 was named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ list of the 100 most influential people in the staffing industry.

Curate targets the data management sector with four primary offerings: big data, cloud based data, security, and mobility. “They all kind of wrap around this concept of data,” Foley said. The firm targets small to mid-size companies. It is initially focused on the Boston market but expects to eventually expand its geographic footprint to markets including Chicago, New York, Dallas and Washington, D.C.

“I think it’s an opportunity to build out something in a kind of unique way that we think is a little different than most companies go about the market,” Foley said. “We’re excited to have the autonomy and the flexibility to do it the way we want to do it.”
