CSI acquires Atlanta IT staffing firm

The CSI Companies acquired Anteo Group, an Atlanta-based IT staffing firm. It is the first acquisition for CSI and gives the Jacksonville, Fla.-based company a footprint in Atlanta, the Southeast’s largest market, where it also has several clients.

The transaction closed Sept. 1 and terms were not disclosed.

“We carefully evaluated a wide variety of firms nationwide for our first acquisition,” said Rafe Sanson, CEO of The CSI Companies. “Anteo Group has a talented and experienced team, well-established client relationships with Fortune 500 companies and a company culture that mirrors what we have built here at CSI.”

Anteo will continue to operate under its own brand, and founder Dion DeLoof will remain with the company as head of the Atlanta office. DeLoof founded Anteo in 2002; he had served at Allegis Group for 10 years prior to founding the company.

“Anteo will be working hand-in-hand with our IT group in Jacksonville,” said Keith Lechwar, CSI’s vice president of operations and marketing.

CSI is part of Recruit Co. Holdings Ltd., one of the largest staffing firms in the world. The CSI Companies comprises three divisions: CSI Professional, CSI Healthcare IT and CSI Tech.
