Mitchell Martin Inc. acquired the operating assets of NCO Staffing Inc., a New York-based information technology staffing and executive search firm. NCO operates in several states.

The transaction closed Jan. 6 and terms were not disclosed. The transaction was an asset purchase and not a merger of the two organizations, and Mitchell Martin has not acquired any NCO obligations that originated prior to the closing date.

NCO brings some new clients to MMI and helps expand its IT services into the healthcare IT sector, the company said in a statement.

NCO’s staff will join MMI’s New York offices and NCO owner Christopher Pukit will assume the title of senior vice president of strategic accounts.

Mitchell Martin is a New York-based provider of IT and healthcare staffing. It counts $150 million in revenue and conducts business in about 30 states.
