Contract watch: Oklahoma hospital group awards RPO deal

Supplemental Health Care’s recruitment process outsourcing program is being implemented by EASTAR Health System. Muskogee, Okla.-based EASTAR is a 320-bed, two-campus health system serving Eastern Oklahoma. Its main campus was formerly the Muskogee Regional Medical Center; its east campus was formerly Muskogee Community Hospital. It’s part of the Capella Healthcare family of hospitals

“We are thrilled that EASTAR Health System has chosen us for this project as the exclusive provider of RPO services,” said Tanya Tesseyman, vice President of Supplemental Health Care’s RPO division. “Meeting healthcare staffing challenges has always been demanding, especially in more rural markets. With the shortage of experienced registered nurses and rising operating expenses associated with recruiting, it is becoming even more complex.”

Supplemental will partner with EASTAR to provide employer branding, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, assessment references and credential information.

Supplemental is based in Park City, Utah.
