Parallon promoted CFO Chris Taylor to president. Taylor had served as interim president since November 2013.

Parallon is division of HCA Holdings Inc. and provides several services to the healthcare industry including healthcare staffing. Its Parallon Workforce Management Solutions division ranks as the eighth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the U.S.

Taylor is a 29-year veteran of HCA. He will report to William Rutherford, executive vice president and CFO of HCA.

“Chris has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities throughout his career with HCA, and his hospital leadership experience has given him a deep understanding of the challenges healthcare providers are facing,” Rutherford said.

A search for a new CFO for the Parallon business is underway.
