How sophisticated is your contingent workforce program?

In our 2014 North America Contingent Buyer Survey, we asked respondents to rate how sophisticated their programs were. For the most part, the answer was … not very. We asked buyers of contingent labor to rate their contingent workforce program's level of sophistication and planning on a scale from one to six (one being relatively unsophisticated and six being very sophisticated) with respect to four measures in the illustration below. In all four measures, more than 75 percent of respondents noted a rating of four or lower.
