Contract Watch: HP, Nestlé, Hertfordshire

Computer maker HP chose the Fieldglass vendor management system to manage its global services procurement program, according to the VMS provider. The program includes contingent workers, statement-of-work projects and independent contractors. The skill sets covered include light industrial, information technology, engineering and professional services. “HP is leveraging the leading contingent labor management system to streamline processes and reduce costs,” said John Hinshaw, executive vice president of global technology and business processes at HP. “Fieldglass simplifies the way we procure and manage contingent workers around the world.”

PeopleScout signed a deal to provide recruitment process outsourcing services for Nestlé DSD, which manages direct store delivery operations for Nestlé USA. The engagement calls for PeopleScout to place frontline roles such as retail representatives, sales representatives, delivery agents and warehouse associates in the United States.

Carlisle Managed Solutions, a provider of recruitment process outsourcing, received a contract to provide recruitment of temporary staff for the Hertfordshire County Council, a governmental agency overseeing Hertfordshire County north of London. The contract will begin in 2013. Carlisle Managed Solutions is a division of Impellam Group plc.
