South America – Former Randstad manager to head staffing federation

Former Randstad manager Martín Padulla has been appointed to managing director at the Latin American Confederation of Private Employment Services (CLETT&A). In his new position, Mr Padulla will be responsible for representing and coordinating various member federations.

Between 1997 and 2012 Mr Padulla worked as manager at Select, Vedior and Randstad in Argentina and Uruguay.

The 50 member associations affiliated with CLETT&A include major Latin American staffing markets, such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay. The organisation aims to promote the staffing industry in South America, a thriving market place for recruitment firms.

Mr Padulla describes his new job duties on his LinkedIn profile. “As the managing director of CLETT&A, I am in charge of designing and implementing the activities of the Latin American Confederation of Private Employment Services and promoting the interests of the staffing industry vis-à-vis international institutions, such as the International Confederation of Private Employment Services (CIETT), the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the World Bank or the OECD.”
