Japan – Randstad hires Managing Director for Professionals recruiting business

Randstad Japan have announced the appointment of Paul Dupuis to the newly created role of Managing Director for Randstad Professionals, the company’s mid-career recruitment business in Japan.

Based in Tokyo, Mr Dupuis will be responsible for the strategic and growth planning of the company’s professional segments; including the executive recruitment, permanent placement, and engineering placement divisions.

A Canadian national, Mr Dupuis is bilingual in English and Japanese, and has spent 23 years working in Japan and across Asia in key leadership roles. He relocated to Japan to take on this role at Randstad having previously been Head of SE Asia Region & President – Singapore for the Japanese staffing firm en world.

Randstad Japan also announced today that they recently launched a permanent team to focus on the recruitment of those in their 20s and early 30s, to bridge a recruitment gap between their existing general staffing and middle class permanent recruitment businesses. To boost this new development, Randstad have announced that they will recruit a substantial number of consultants in order to drive growth in the coming year.
