International recruitment firm Randstad have announced that Meiji Holdings is the best company to work for in Japan, followed by Suntory Holdings and Sony. This marks the third consecutive year that a food, beverage, and tobacco company has been named the best company.
Meiji Holdings, through its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells dairy products, confectionary, and pharmaceuticals through Japan and internationally. In last year’s list Meiji was ranked third. Suntory Holdings fell from top position last year to second in 2014, the company produces and distributes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Electronics giant Sony jumped from 24th place in 2013 to third in 2014.
