Staffing Industry Analysts today announced the 2013 list of major staffing firms in China. In contrast with other ‘Largest staffing firm’ research provided by SIA, ranking the various actors in the Chinese staffing market has proven challenging. Our research provides an analysis of staffing firms; with explanations of regional definitions and idiosyncrasies.
“Financial information from local vendors has not been forthcoming, while international firms, even publically listed ones do not provide a financial breakdown of their results within China,” said John Nurthen, Executive Director International Development, Staffing Industry Analysts. “As a result, the major staffing suppliers have been listed by category. We believe that this is the most comprehensive catalogue available of staffing suppliers in this important emerging market.”
While the first staffing suppliers established in China were state-owned, many local private firms have now emerged to take advantage of China’s booming economy. At the same time, the largest international staffing companies have also expanded into China alongside a number of adventurous mid-sized and small businesses. While US and European staffing brands have led the charge into China, a number of large Japanese firms have also taken the initiative to cross the East China Sea primarily to service the staffing needs of Japanese businesses with operations in China.
