China – Kelly Services appoints MD amid expansion plans

US recruiter Kelly Services has appointed Leroy Yue as Managing Director and Country Manager for China, the firm announced Monday. He will be managing the company’s Chinese operating units at a time when the firm is planning to expand in the country.

“My objective is to make Kelly China a platform where employees can fully utilize their skills and develop their career while enjoying their job. I believe that only a motivated workforce can deliver the highest level of service to our clients and candidates,” said Mr Yue.

He has worked with multinational companies in the past, working in Europe and across Asia. According to his LinkedIn profile, Mr Yue was previously the vice president at software company Infor.

Commenting on his appointment, COO of North Asia, Natalia Shuman, said: “With his experience in leadership roles in various industries, first-hand knowledge of recruitment business in China and general management expertise, Leroy is well positioned to execute on Kelly China strategy and growth plans.”

Kelly Services first entered the Chinese market in 2007 and has 7 offices in Greater China, providing specialist professional & technical recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing. The staffing company now plans to open more offices and build new speciality offerings and HR solutions in China.
