Human capital management solutions company ADP has acquired Payroll S.A., a provider of human resource outsourcing, payroll and employee benefits services across Chile, Argentina and Peru. The strategic move will strengthen ADP’s position in the high-growth Latin American market.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Chile, Payroll S.A. offers services such as core payroll, HR, performance management, recruiting, scheduling, absence management, time and labour management. The firm’s solutions are offered through a spectrum of delivery methods, including full outsourcing, software-as-a-service and on-site deployment.
“Today’s announcement marks an important building block in our global Human Capital Management (HCM) strategy,” said Mark Benjamin, Division President at ADP. “We currently offer HCM solutions to clients in over 80 countries and this acquisition will further reinforce our capabilities in the fast-growing Latin American market.”
ADP has had a relationship with Payroll since 2009, and although it has a presence in Brazil and throughout Latin America via its subsidiaries, the acquisition gives it additional entry into Chile, Argentina, and Peru.
ADP boasts global revenue of $10 billion, serving 600,000 clients in more than 125 countries. Last year, the company bought Randstad’s payroll business in India for an undisclosed sum.
