Recruitment firm Tempo Australia Ltd (TPP: AU) announced today that Chairman Nick Bowen will step down from his position from the 11 November 2013. Mr Bowen has accepted a senior executive role at mining firm Orica Ltd. Mr Bowen will continue as a Non-executive Director at Tempo.
In a statement, Tempo said: “The Board thanks Nick for his valuable contribution as Chairman and is pleased that he will remain with Tempo.”
Current Non-executive Director Richard Wright, who stepped down from his previous position as Managing Director of Tempo on 30 June 2013, will assume the position of Chairman on the 11 November.
In their most recent financial results, Tempo announced improved revenue during the first half of the year compared with a year ago. The company reported a net loss before tax of AUD 877,000 (USD 805,042), however this marked an improvement on the same period last year.
