Australia-based staffing company Bluestone Global (BUE:ASX) today announced that Dr Prins Ralston has resigned as Non-Executive Director. Chairman Baljit Singh acknowledged his “significant” contribution as a director of the company since December 2011.
Mr Ralston resigned to attend to an increasing workload as part of the Executive Leadership Team of Mission Australia, the company explained.
“Dr Ralston’s comprehensive knowledge of the employment industry in Australia and internationally and his best practice experience in these sectors provided considerable strategic value to Bluestone during his time on the Board,” said Mr Singh.
The company has seen a recent reshuffle of its management after former chief financial officer (CFO) Jean-Yves Didier unexpectedly left the company in April for personal reasons. The firm then appointed Justin Owen as acting CFO with immediate effect.
Bluestone, previously known as Humanis Group, is one of the largest staffing firms in Australia. The firm delivered consolidated revenue of AUD 334.3 million (USD 346.3 million) in 2012 [for the year ended 30 June 2012], up from the AUD 221.8 million (USD 229.7 million) in the prior year. But the firm posted a net loss after tax of AUD 32.7 million (USDs 33.9 million) in the period.
