UK recruiter Fircroft has appointed Singaporean recruitment pioneer Dhirendra Shantilal to head up its Asia Pacific division as the firm seeks to expand and grow in the region. Mr Shantilal will be both board director and head of the Asia Pacific region.
The technical and engineering staffing firm has seen its annual turnover exceed USD 1 billion and is among the 40 largest staffing firms in the world.
With more than 33 years’ experience in recruitment, Mr Dhirendra was one of the founding partners of Business Trends in Singapore, a recruitment firm which was sold to US recruiter Kelly Services in year 2000. Following its sale, he grew the business spanning 85 offices across the Asia Pacific region.

Dhirendra Shantilal has managed operations across 12 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific – Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.
