In a video posted on Youtube last week, Paul Liotti, Marketing and Communication Manager of Adecco Argentina, outlined the current company position and its plans for 2014.
Adecco has been present in Argentina for 31 years. It has more than 70 branches located in major cities and has 7 business units specialising in different industries to provide solutions in the area of human resources.“2013 was a year of growth, we expanded and opened offices in different parts of the country and also add one new unit - Adecco SMEs” said Liotti.
SME Adecco is the new business unit that arose in response to the needs of small and medium enterprises (organizations with up to 50 employees). Adecco SME began operating in October and now operates two branches in the country. For 2014 “expect this unit to strongly grow and expand to provide coverage throughout Argentina”.
Liotti also noted increased social media presence through Adeccoempleo.com and Facebook in 2013 to increase interaction and enhance communication with candidates. The company also launched Community Adecco last year, a space providing news, the views of industry leaders, free salary guides, initiatives and actions in the world of human resources.
According to Adecco, the company also gave impetus to the employment of young people in the age range of 18-23 years, which is known in Europe as the "lost generation ". In Argentina the picture is not as daunting but Adecco puts focus on that niche for young people to make their first job quickly. With a successful year end, Adecco is already working on SME unit expansion, the opening of 8 new branches, growing participation in social networks and continue to accompany their clients in the search for new talent for 2014.
