The Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Council is a business intelligence and advisory service for corporate buyers of contingent (temporary) labor. Membership gives you full access to the expertise, knowledge, and data of Staffing Industry Analysts, plus admission to a professional network of peers.

CWS Council membership is designed exclusively for executives who have responsibilities related to their company's use of contingent/contractor/temporary workers and related solutions (such as VMS or MSPs). Typically, CWS Council participants are supply management/procurement, human resource, or IT professionals from global 1000 companies with large contingent workforce programs. 

Multiple Membership Categories
CWS Council membership is available in three regions: North America (U.S., Canada and Mexico), Europe and Rest of World (ROW).

  • Global membership. Covers all three regions.
  • Multi-Regional membership. Covers two regions.
  • Single membership. Either North America, Europe or ROW.

Levels of Membership

  • Corporate Seat. Individual access and an unlimited number of eligible employees.
  • Double Seat. Individual access plus one additional eligible employee.
  • Single Seat. Individual access only

2. Who should join the CWS Council?

CWS Council membership is designed exclusively for supply management/procurement, HR, IT professionals or department managers who use or engage contingent/temporary workers, independent contractors or statement of work (SOW) consultants. The CWS Council is intended for companies involved in the use of contingent/contract/temporary workers and related services. Staffing firms or professional services firms with a substantial business focus in staffing, VMS, MSP, RPO, independent contractor compliance, HRO or related services are not eligible for membership in the CWS Council. Staffing Industry Analysts reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine eligibility for council membership and to remove companies and/or individuals from participation and membership in the CWS Council.

CWS Council Members may receive a four to six hour analyst visit, subject to analyst availability and scheduling, that provides the opportunity to meet with an industry expert to address your toughest contingent workforce problem.

Buyer Webinar Series – Automatic enrollment in Staffing Industry Analysts webinar series, featuring expert speakers on a variety of important contingent workforce-related topics around the world.

Peer Networking – Join fellow council members for regular discussions on the most pressing issues facing contingent workforce managers. Also included are analyst facilitated peer-to-peer calls and introductions.

Member Meetings – Attend a face-to-face meeting. These interactive meetings allow members to share best practices, discuss key issues and interact with peers, SIA analysts and industry subject matter experts in a small group setting. These sessions are held in conjunction with Staffing Industry Analysts’ CWS Summits in the US, Europe and Asia as well as at member locations from time to time. In 2013 the Mid-Year meeting was at 3M’s global HQ and in 2014 the Mid-Year meeting will be at ESPN’s Bristol CT location.

CCWP Certification – Staffing Industry Analysts Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) is an accreditation program designed for HR, procurement, solution providers and others who manage corporate contingent/temporary staffing. CCWP Members receive discounted CCWP class admission as well as opportunities to obtain continuing education credits to stay on the cutting edge of contingent labor management strategies.
