Staffing Industry Analysts Names Largest Canadian Staffing Firms

Randstad Tops 2012 List

Mountain View, Calif. – August 10, 2012 - Staffing Industry Analysts, the leading global advisor on contingent work, released the 2012 list of largest Canadian staffing firms. Randstad topped the list for the fourth year in a row with $525 million in Canadian revenue, exceeding second place Adecco by C$10 million. Adecco has held second place for the last four years.

The annual list includes 23 staffing firms with C$50 million or more in 2011 staffing revenue, totaling C$4.1 billion. The data included in the report was collected through an online survey conducted March through June of this year.

The five largest Canadian staffing companies are:

”The majority of Canadian staffing firms on the list posted strong revenue growth in 2011, in line with our estimate of 12 percent expansion for the total market in 2011,” said Timothy Landhuis, research analyst at Staffing Industry Analysts. “For 2012, we project that the Canadian staffing industry will grow 9 percent.”
