Keynote Speakers Announced for Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2014 Staffing Healthcare Summit

The industry’s largest gathering of healthcare staffing executives join to discuss “The Challenge of Execution” in today’s healthcare market

Mountain View, Calif. – July 29, 2014 - Staffing Industry Analysts, the global advisor on contingent work, today announced the keynote speakers for the 12th annual Healthcare Staffing Summit being held September 8-10 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, TX. The 2014 Healthcare Staffing Summit will focus on “The Challenge of Execution” with an in-depth look at the trends, business practices and leadership strategies needed for healthcare staffing companies to recruit talent, manage demand and increase profitability.

Dr. Ian Morrison, author, consultant, and futurist, is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, September 9, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m. “The Future of the Healthcare Marketplace: Playing the New Game,” will focus on the political, economic, and strategic context of change in healthcare, describe possible scenarios and examine how the various actors are preparing for the future. The session will identify the leadership challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and will provide strategic insights on how organizations and individuals can flourish in the future.

Morrison will also be part of the “Decoding the Drivers of Demand in Healthcare Staffing,” keynote panel on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m.  Morrison, along with Ralph Henderson of AMN Healthcare and Stephen Newman of Tenet Healthcare Corporation, will discuss the ways in which broader trends within the healthcare sector impact order volumes. Their predictions on the further evolution of the U.S. healthcare system will provide clues on how to best position firms for success.

On Wednesday, September 10, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., Liz Wiseman, president of the Wiseman Group, will discuss two types of leaders in her keynote session, “Multipliers: How the Best Leaders Make Everyone Smarter.” Wiseman will share the research behind Multipliers and illustrate the resoundingly positive and profitable effect these Multipliers have on organizations – how they get more done with fewer resources, develop and attract talent, and cultivate new ideas and energy to drive organizational change and innovation.

“Each year, the Healthcare Staffing Summit brings together healthcare staffing professionals to network and learn at this must-attend event,” said John Nurthen, executive director of global research for Staffing Industry Analysts. “This year’s conference will be no exception and we look forward to presenting current and high-quality content, whether our attendees are looking for the latest data on ACA compliance, implementing better strategies or expanding their service offerings.”

The three day Summit, attracting over 300 staffing executives, will feature networking opportunities and more than 20 educational sessions on travel nursing, per diem nursing, locum tenens, allied medical, IT, finance and operations.
