2013 Contingent Buyer Survey: Trends in VMS and MSP use, and use of SLAs and KPIs for managing MSPs

  • Core buyers were slightly more likely than all buyers to use either VMS or MSP. There were also significant correlations between the size of core buyers’ organizations and whether VMS or MSP was used.
  • We asked buyers to rate their satisfaction with their VMS and MSP. Net promoter scores (a measure of net satisfaction) were slightly negative for both VMS and MSP.
  • Staffing Industry Analysts categorized criteria buyers use to evaluate their MSPs into 19 separate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). A total of 35 respondents gave at least one KPI.
