Supplemental Health Care selects Travelers Haven as housing & hotel partner — Sponsor Content

Travelers Haven, the largest provider of temporary housing to the healthcare industry in the nation, announced today the formation of a new partnership with Supplemental Health Care. The partnership is expected to reduce Supplemental Health Care’s total cost of providing housing while increasing its housing and hotel placement capabilities.

For more than 30 years, Supplemental Health Care has been a leading healthcare staffing agency, placing traveling healthcare professionals in a wide variety of locations across the United States, and it is recognized as one of the largest healthcare staffing agencies in the nation by the Staffing Industry Analysts. Until recently, housing for travelers was secured by the healthcare professional or internal staff at Supplemental Health Care. After the completion of a six-month outsourced housing pilot program which demonstrated a direct costs savings, Supplemental Health Care will now formalize the partnership with Travelers Haven.

Chris Long, Supplemental Health Care’s Vice President of Training and Operations, stated: “We were impressed by the results of the pilot program. Through this strategic relationship with Travelers Haven, we can offer our travelers more quality housing options at more locations while reducing costs.”

Elia Wallen, President of Travelers Haven, commented: “Every partnership we secure allows us to provide better services to all of our clients. Establishing an alliance with a leading staffing firm like Supplemental Health Care enables us to build upon our group purchasing power and deliver on our core mission of supporting the healthcare staffing industry.”
