Aequor Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing company headquartered in New Jersey, acquired Therapy Staff LLC of Plymouth, Mich.

The transaction closed Feb. 13; terms were not disclosed.

This is Aequor’s sixth acquisition in 24 months. The others are ID Medical Group, Lititz Healthcare and MedStaff of Rochester, N.Y.; Royal Care Medical Staffing Inc. of Pittsburgh, Penn.; and the life sciences staff augmentation practice of Sound Advice, based in Scarsdale, N.Y.

“The acquisition greatly expands and strengthens both companies’ presence in the highly competitive therapist recruiting and staffing segment of the healthcare market,” said Aequor CEO and Co-Chairman Manmeet Virdi.

The Therapy Staff brand will remain and its executives will remain with the company in their current roles.

Aequor Healthcare is a part of Aequor Group of Companies that also includes Aequor Technologies, Aequor Media and CAMPUS Education Center.
