Aequor Healthcare Services, a healthcare staffing company headquartered in New Jersey, acquired Royal Care Medical Staffing Inc. of Pittsburgh, Penn.

The transaction closed May 19; terms were not announced.

This is Aequor’s fourth acquisition in 24 months; the others are ID Medical Group, Lititz Healthcare and MedStaff of Rochester, New York.

“Our string of recent acquisitions will significantly enhance and broaden Aequor’s Healthcare Staffing and Solutions footprint nationwide, and is well aligned with our long-term strategy and commitment to this fast-growing market,” said President and Chairman Kamalpreet Virdi.

The Royal Care Medical Staffing brand will remain while Aequor considers how to merge it into the Aequor brand. Royal Care Medical Staffing executives will remain with the company during the transition period.

Aequor Healthcare is a part of Aequor Group of Companies that also includes Aequor Technologies, Aequor Media, CAMPUS Education Center.
