Supplemental Health Care, a Park City, Utah-based healthcare staffing firm, appointed Laura Magner as chief operating officer. Magner previously served as vice president of local offices. In addition, the company named Cheryl Wilhelm as president of its travel nursing division. Wilhelm previously served as vice president of travel nursing.

Both Magner and Wilhelm will serve on Supplemental’s senior management team.

Magner in her new role will work to streamline corporate operational procedures, assist with implementing companywide training programs and support introduction of business lines such as Supplemental’s new advanced practice division. In addition, Magner will continue to lead operations for the company’s 55 offices as well as oversee the company’s physician staffing division. She will be based out of Dayton, Ohio.

Wilhelm will lead sales efforts for Supplemental’s travel nursing operations throughout the U.S., oversee compliance standards and work, oversee the financial health of the division and partner to build custom workforce solutions.

“They both bring a great understanding of clients’ various healthcare needs and are strong partners with medical facilities in providing quality and patient-centered care,” said CEO Janet Elkin.
