Southern California firm buys nurse staffing provider

Decton Inc. acquired AllStar Staffing, a provider of nurse staffing with three offices in Carlsbad, Calif. The deal took effect July 8 and AllStar founder Rita King will remain as president of the new AllStar Staffing division.

“We welcome AllStar’s staff and employees,” said Decton President and CEO Stephen Beal. “Together we will continue to serve our clients and earn their business. This is a great time to be in this industry, ‘jobs’ are what we do and what everyone needs. Together we intend to help put more Californians back to work.”

Decton is based in Irvine, Calif., and was founded in 2002. It has nine locations in Southern California. Staffing segments it serves include accounting/finance, administrative and professional, call center, construction and skilled trades, executive, healthcare, hospitality, industrial maintenance and engineering, IT, distribution/logistics, industrial and others.
