World – New regional head for Adecco Asia announced

Christophe Duchatellier has been named as Regional Head for Adecco Asia, overseeing the company's subsidiaries in Southeast and Northeast Asia. This region includes offices in mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The company has been present in Asia since 1984 when it opened its first office in Hong Kong.

Mr Duchatellier relocates to Asia from France, where he recently held the role of Head of Professional Staffing for Adecco France. He joined Adecco in 2010, following a 15-year career with Michael Page International plc. His final position with Michael Page was as Regional Managing Director, Europe, as well as being a member of the company's Executive Board.

Patrick De Maeseneire, Adecco Group CEO, said that Mr Duchatellier “is a seasoned staffing and human resources professional with an excellent understanding of the dynamics of our industry and an international track record of successfully managing operations in both emerging and established markets. He will be a great asset to Adecco operations in Southeast & Northeast Asia.”

Mr Duchatellier will have overall responsibility for Adecco's general and professional staffing divisions in Southeast and Northeast Asia. He is a French national who studied Law at Paris Sorbonne University, and will be based at the Adecco Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore.
