The multinational company Hewlett-Packard (HP) has chosen the vendor management system (VMS) of US-based provider Fieldglass to run its global services procurement program, the company reported this week.
HP's services procurement program includes contingent workers, Statement of Work (SOW)-based projects and independent contractors that span a broad skill set, including light industrial, IT, engineering and professional services.
“HP is leveraging the leading contingent labor management system to streamline processes and reduce costs. Fieldglass simplifies the way we procure and manage contingent workers around the world,” said John Hinshaw, EVP of Global Technology and Business Processes at HP.
Fieldglass provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for the procurement and management of labour, including contingent staffing. The company is based in its corporate headquarters in Chicago with international offices located in the UK and Australia.
