World – Heidrick gets new Managing Partner at London Office

Heidrick & Struggles International (HSII:NSQ), the advisory firm providing executive search and leadership consulting services, said today that Daren Kemp has been named Global Practice Managing Partner of the Industrial Practice with immediate effect.

Mr Kemp currently serves as Managing Partner and Chairman of the Strategic Partners Program and partner-in-charge of the Singapore office and will now be relocating to the firm’s London office.

He joined the staffing firm in 2008 and has in his most recent post been responsible for building strategic client partnerships around the globe. Previously, he served as co-leader for Global Markets for the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Kemp has more than 20 years of executive search experience serving a wide range of clients in the financial and professional services industry.

The firm’s Industrial Practice focuses on supporting industrial companies identify and recruit professionals, serving every region across the globe, including emerging markets, Russia, India, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Heidrick & Struggles is a leadership advisory firm, operating its executive search and leadership consulting services in three geographic regions: the Americas; Europe (which includes the Middle East and Africa); and Asia Pacific.

In April the firm reported that first-quarter net revenue dropped by almost -8% to US$106.5 million from US$115.6 million a year ago.

As of last trade yesterday, the company’s share price was down -2.7% at US$17.25, down -11.0% from a year ago and +0.8% above the 52-week low of US15.57 set on October 2011. This values the Group at US$ 310.26 million.
