World – Bullhorn hits milestone achievements

Bullhorn, the online recruiting software provider, said yesterday that it had reached a “series of milestone achievements” in the first half of 2012, including strong new bookings growth, new product innovations, and customer wins.

The company has recently been acquired by a private equity firm, Vista Equity Partners, for what is believed to be a nine-figure sum.

Bullhorn saw good growth rates in 2011, increasing revenue by +40% and in the first quarter of 2012 its new bookings rose by +66% in Q1 2012 compared to 2011 while its new Applicant Tracking System/Customer Relationship  Management (ATS/CRM) seat growth was also up 69% from a year ago. The company added more than 3,500 new ATS/CRM seats from 380 new customers during the first half of 2012, including Sodexo Australia, GMR Marketing, Bond Street, Vision IT, and Maplesoft.

The firm’s social recruiting product Bullhorn Reach also grew rapidly and broke through the 100,000 user mark with more than 12,000 companies in 126 countries using its ATS/CRM platform and Bullhorn Reach.

More than 82,000 recruiters are now registered with Bullhorn Reach and the firm signed new agreements with clients including Brooksource, FGP International, TrueBridge, and KBW for Bullhorn's enterprise-scale social recruiting product, Bullhorn Reach Team. Job seeker traffic to the social recruiting platform is also up over 700% with 1.1 million unique monthly visitors.

This comes after the company announced a number of new product innovations, such as analytical tools and a new version of Bullhorn Mobile that enabling recruiters, account managers and executives on the go to browse lists of candidates, jobs, and contacts, add jobs, and view reports.

The firm also announced yesterday that it has selected a CloudBees Platform to accelerate its customised application development.

Bullhorn was founded in 1999 and serves over 12,000 staffing and recruiting clients across 126 countries. The company’s recruitment software is delivered using the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and is headquartered in Boston, US.
