World – Association of Executive Search Consultants grows

The Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) has accepted eight new retained executive search firms as members. Their approval follows extensive reference checks, site visits, and votes by the AESC regional councils, the organisation announced on Monday.

The professional association for the retained executive search and leadership consulting industry promotes professional standards in the sector. It also offers career management services for senior executives.

The AESC has welcomed the executive recruiters from countries as far afield as Italy, New Zealand and Brazil. They include Agilium Worldwide (Italy), Alder Koten, Houston (US), Alemany & Partners (Spain), Central Executive Placement (Poland), Executive Performance (Brazil), Hobson Leavy (New Zealand), Rasd Executive Search (UAE) and Ward Howell Asia (Hong Kong).

The firms specialise in a number of different sectors and geographies. Italy-based Agilium Worldwide is a retained executive and professional search firm specialising in the pharmaceutical sector, new technologies & digital economy. Texas-based Alder Koten provides executive search, cultural & leadership assessment, and other talent advisory services.

Alemany & Partners, based in Madrid, conducts C-level engagements for clients in Spain and Latin-America. Central Executive Placement is based in Warsaw and specialises in senior executive search in Central and Eastern Europe.

Headquartered in São Paulo, EXEC (Executive Performance) is a boutique firm founded in 2009. Hobson Leavy provides specialises in executive-level and non-executive director appointments across all sectors in New Zealand. Dubai-based Rasd mainly offers executive search in the Middle East and Arabian Gulf while Ward Howell’s reach spans across Asia.
