Because youth unemployment remains worryingly high in the UK and many parts of the world, the Telegraph Media Group has teamed up with the Henry Jackson Initiative to launch a national prize on how to solve youth unemployment.
The competition is sponsored by Sir Alec Reed, the founder of Reed recruitment agency which is one of the largest in the UK. Readers are asked to submit a 1,000 word essay on how joblessness amongst young people can be reduced. The winner will be given £10,000 in cash.
The competition is open to anyone aged over 18 and essays should be sent by 14 December to email@example.com
