The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has appointed Aidan Anglin as new chairman to the REC Technology sector group. Mr Anglin, Director of DP Connect, was appointed at the beginning of the year and takes over from chairman Jeff Brooks who served more than eight years in the post.
REC director of policy and professional services, Tom Hadley, said: “We look forward to working to Aidan and the executive committee to build on what have been achieved over the last few years in terms of campaigns, research and practical support for specialist recruiters. We will also continue to drive active involvement in our work so that members get the most benefit from their membership.
“This is a challenging time for the industry and it is more important than ever to ensure that REC Technology maintains a strong and effective voice to government, clients and the candidate market.”
The REC is the professional body for the recruitment industry and represents 3,776 corporate members across the UK.
