UK - 'Positive' Sign As Post Strike Talks Continue

20 October 2009

Following twelve hours of negotiations yesterday, talks between Communication Workers Union (CWU) leaders and Royal Mail management, aimed at averting this week's postal strike, are set to resume today.

Union sources according to Sky News said the fact that talks lasted so long was a "positive sign", while a Royal Mail spokesman said it was working hard to reach an agreement with the union to avert the planned strikes.
